LSS Meals, a service of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS), provides three meal options to the Central Minnesota region through its partnership with Hilltop Regional Kitchen.

Each menu item is carefully crafted by a licensed dietitian and cooked locally at Hilltop Regional Kitchen with simple, fresh ingredients.  Meals are carefully portioned with a balance of proteins, carbohydrates and spices that will meet your dietary needs and taste great.

We offer:

LSS Meals on Wheels - Volunteers deliver fresh, hot meals and provide a safety check for older adults aged 60+ who are unable to leave their homes. Enrolling your client for dietitian-reviewed home-delivered meals is easy and gets them the nutritious food they need for a healthy lifestyle at a great value.

Meals are typically delivered Monday through Friday. Depending on location, we also offer every other week delivery of 14 frozen meals that can be reheated at your convenience. If your client needs meals for weekends or holidays, additional meals can be delivered during the week.

Meals may be authorized as part of home and community-based waivered services through Medicaid waivers, and other subsidy programs can also help cover the cost of meal delivery service. Learn more about LSS Meals on Wheels

LSS Meals to Go - A new, convenient and affordable frozen meal shipment service that is available to anyone in Minnesota. This service is perfect for older adults in rural areas without LSS Meals on Wheels delivery or a nearby LSS Bistro site, and individuals looking to try something new, delicious and convenient. Meals on Wheels offers low-sodium and diabetic meal options, as well as vegetarian options. Simply specify your client’s dietary needs when you enroll them for service. Learn more and sign-up

LSS Bistro - Community dining is also available on-site at the LSS Bistro at Hilltop Regional Kitchen, Monday through Friday at 11:50 AM. This site offers adults aged 60+ well-balanced, great tasting hot meals and the opportunity for social interaction in a friendly, community atmosphere. Learn more
